ISLAMABAD:

Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research Rana Tanveer Hussain led Pakistan's delegation at the 49th session of the Governing Council of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) in Rome, where ministers and development partners reviewed strategies for rural transformation and sustainable agriculture.

On the sidelines, the minister held a meeting with IFAD President Alvaro Lario to review progress on IFAD-funded projects in Pakistan, future cooperation and Islamabad's participation in replenishment cycles.
